Vetivex Veterinary Lactated Ringer's Injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for fluid and electrolyte replenishment for animal use only.
Active ingredients
Each 100 mL of Vetivex Veterinary Lactated Ringer's Injection contains:
- Sodium chloride 600 mg
- Sodium lactate, anhydrous 310 mg
- Potassium chloride 30 mg
- Calcium chloride, dihydrate 20 mg
Indications for use
Vetivex Veterinary Lactated Ringer's Injection is indicated as a source of water and electrolytes or as an alkalinizing agent.
Administration and dosage
- Follow prescribing instructions received from your veterinarian.
- Dosage is dependent upon the age, weight and clinical condition of the patient as well as laboratory determinations.
- Parenteral drug products should be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration prior to administration whenever solution and container permit.
- All injections in plastic containers are intended for intravenous administration using sterile equipment.
